There are many different Medicare Supplement plans that cover a variety of different things. However, no Medicare Supplement plans offer prescription drug coverage – you’ll need Medicare Part D for that coverage. Supplements also generally don’t cover:

Medigap Plan A covers Medicare Part A coinsurance payments, Medicare Part B copayment or coinsurance, the first three pints of blood used in a medical procedure, and Part A hospice care coinsurance expense or copayment.
Medigap Plan B is a Medicare Supplement plan that covers everything Medigap Plan A covers, plus your Medicare Part A deductible.
Medigap Plan C covers everything Medigap Plan B covers, plus skilled nursing facility care and your Part B deductible. 80% of foreign travel emergency medical care costs are also covered.
Medigap Plan D covers Medicare Part A coinsurance payments, Medicare Part B copayment or coinsurance, the first three pints of blood used in a medical procedure, Part A hospice care coinsurance expense or copayment, skilled nursing facility care, and your Part A deductible as well as 80% of foreign travel emergency medical care costs.
Medigap Plan F is the most comprehensive and popular Medicare Supplement Plan It covers both Medicare deductibles and all copays and coinsurance, so you don’t have any out-of-pocket expenses.
Medigap Plan G is a Medicare Supplement plan that offers the most substantial coverage available outside of Medigap Plan F. It’s the second most popular Medicare Supplement Plan, covering everything Plan F covers except your Medicare Part B deductible.
Medigap Plan K is one of the less substantial Medicare Supplement plans, covering your Part A coinsurance and hospital costs, 50% of the cost of Medicare Part B copayment or coinsurance, 50% of the cost of the first three pints of blood used in a medical procedure, 50% of the cost of Part A hospice care coinsurance expense or copayment, 50% of skilled nursing facility care, and 50% of your Part A deductible.
Medigap Plan L covers your Part A coinsurance and hospital costs, 75% of the cost of Medicare Part B copayment or coinsurance, 75% of the cost of the first three pints of blood used in a medical procedure, 75% of the cost of Part A hospice care coinsurance expense or copayment, 75% of skilled nursing facility care, and 75% of your Part A deductible.
Medigap Plan M covers Medicare Part A coinsurance payments, Medicare Part B copayment or coinsurance, the first three pints of blood used in a medical procedure, Part A hospice care coinsurance expense or copayment, skilled nursing facility care, and 50% of your Part A deductible as well as 80% of foreign travel emergency medical care costs.
Medigap Plan N is a popular Medicare Supplement plan that is less comprehensive than plans F and G but more comprehensive than plans A and B.
